WebDec 14, 2016 · HRTF doesn't cause high CPU usage for everyone. I have no problems with it at all. If your CPU is under heavy load from CSGO it might have other reasons. HRTF can be a cause for high CPU usage, but not all the time. I use an I5 and it lowered the percentage of CPU usage by 20% or so. Of course it can be different for everyone. WebNew command is CPU memory reduction, not CPU usage reduction. Got "-novid -d3d9ex" in starting commands, and basically reinstalled my OS few days ago, same was happening last time so i don't think theres anything wrong with game cache. When I limit the game to 4 threads, the usage on the 4 threads it DOES use is almost TWICE the usage on the additional 3 threads (or 4 additional threads when all 8 are enabled), which acts as proof that CSGO in fact CAN utilize 8 threads properly.
